Gainsborough-Greens-Golf-Club---Brad-Butler-26-Hayden-Semionov-11 are about to finish high school or not far from it and now you have to make some pretty big life decisions. Or you might have already left school.

Despite your parent’s advice, you are positive you don’t want to go to university, yet you feel unprepared to join the daily grind and land a full time J.O.B

You might have even desperately asked Google, “What is my next career move?”

Don’t stress, you have landed at the right place.

AFL SportsReady is a not-for-profit company dedicated to helping young Australians develop careers through traineeships and educational opportunities.

So, what exactly is a traineeship?

Traineeships are the ideal blend of education and employment that can enable you to gain a formal qualification and practical work experience.

They typically involve entry-level roles made specifically for young Australians, like yourself, just starting their career journey.

As a trainee with us, we can place you with one of our many employers in accordance with your experience and career ambition. You will then work on-site with your host organisation gaining essential workplace experience.

Every trainee is required to complete either a Certificate II, III, IV or Diploma as part of their traineeship, typically through SportsReady Education, our Registered Training Organisation. Where possible, the educational components of the course are matched to your workplace role and career interests. It’s about what you want to do.

AFL SportsReady will support you every step of the way, by assigning you with a dedicated Field Officer. Your ‘fieldy’ will become your go-to for all employment-related issues and help make your traineeship experience the best it can possibly be.

AFL SportsReady offers a variety of different traineeship options including:
