Thats right AFL SportsReady is holding our first Indigenous gathering it will be held at the AFL SportsReady office which is on 209 Henley Beach Road Torrensville from 3:00pm til 5:00pm. This is a great opportunity for the trainee's to meet each other. The staff will be there so it would be a good time to ask any questiions that the trainee's might have, and Shaun Burgoyne will also be there. So if you are an Indigenous trainee we would like to see you there.

Kirby Pedler is a trainee hosted at Recreation S.A. After Kirby completed year 12 in 2005, she was ready to find a job. While searching for a job she came across AFL SportsReady traineeships.

Kirby took this as an opportunity to get a job in an industry she enjoyed and also the chance to learn and pick up new skills while completing her Certificate 3 in Sport and Recreation.
